Where to Eat...

Breakfast

Take the causeway over to Sanibel Island and have breakfast at the Lighthouse Cafe. The toll is about $5 to cross, but it is well worth it. They have omelets made with fresh seafood caught right there on the island and a homemade strawberry jelly that will make you think of Grandma. Plus, there's a public beach next to the restaurant where you can find the most beautiful, unbroken shells in the world.

Lunch

Enjoy lunch at the Edison Lunch Box. They serve delicious hamburgers, plus their food is very affordable.

Dinner

Dinner at Amici's is delicious, they serve delicious salads and delectable pizzas and subs. It's got that "old pizza place" feel which is really cool.

What to Do...

Morning

Visit the Manatee Park and get up close and personal with these interesting creatures of the deep. After touring the park, let your kids have a little fun time in the playground.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, visit the Edison and Ford winter estates. The kids will love seeing the two great inventors' many inventions.

Evening

At night, head over to the Edison Mall or Times Square to shop for souvenirs and other things that you need for your trip.
